Danny Lau was recommended by our selling agents in Ontario. When we reached out to Danny and spoke to him personally we knew he would make this part of our relocation journey less wearisome. He asked us what exact things were important to us when looking for a home so he can narrow down the search. He regularly provided us with houses for sale, addressed our questions and concerns about the houses we were interested in and checked in on us regularly to make sure he was taking us in the right direction when finding our place to call home. He arranged showings with the sellers and at each property he conducted a video tour. He meticulously went through each room showing us the light fixtures and where the switches were located to turn them on and off, inspected windows for any moisture. Opened each drawer, cupboards, doors to each room and we were able to note any squeaks and any doors that rubbed against the door frames. These little things may not seem like a “big deal” but when you’re not physically there to tour the house, it meant the world to us when you’re making the biggest purchase in your life. Making the offer, providing the deposits were seamless. On the day of closing, with my wife still in Ontario and me starting my new position, we were both unable to get the keys to our new home. Danny offered to pickup the keys from our lawyer and he delivered them to me at work in downtown Edmonton!!! Danny went above and beyond what you’d expect from a realtor. Knowing my wife and daughter were arriving on a certain day, he hand delivered a boxed charcuterie board complete with high end products, assorted crackers and a bottle of wine!!! Danny is not only our realtor, Danny is our friend.

We lived in Ontario and made the move. Danny was nothing but wonderful. When you don’t know the area it is very hard to choose the right place. With Danny, he made me feel comfortable letting me know that he would never put us in an area that he would not put his own family. That put me at ease and made the process more comfortable. Danny also did video walk throughs with us for the homes we liked because we could not do this in person. This helped us choose the right one. When my husband arrived, he took the time to show him the house. Our home is beautiful and we love it. Danny went way above even helping us find someone to clean our house before we moved in. He even helped us find our electrician for the little things we need added. The day before I arrived in Edmonton he showed up at our door with a charcuterie board spread for us and a bottle of wine!
